It’s easy to become a sponsor!  Simply fill out the easy online form (listed below or in the Sponsorship tab), and you will receive a packet in the mail with information about a child you are helping to support.  AOP is a registered 501 c(3), which means that your donations are tax deductible, and you will receive a statement for your giving at the end of the year.

 

Sponsorships provide food, clothes, medical care, education and job training for both resident children in the orphanage and additional impoverished children from the village. Because of the extra children and the fact that many of our actual sponsors are children, we don’t use a per child sponsorship model. Instead, our monthly sponsorships are kept very low, starting at US $10 per month.  Sponsors are given a prayer card for a child they sponsor or help to sponsor.

 

Individual one time sponsorships

Donations can be made via personal check, FaceBook Causes, and Charity Watchdog sites GuideStar, Network for Good and JustGive.org.  If you prefer to use PayPal, this can be done through any of the above sites.

 

Individual monthly sponsorships

Any of the above systems also work for regular monthly contributions.  Additionally, if you bank online, you can arrange to have your payments sent automatically to

Your account number is your last name.  The memo should read “Haiti sponsorship.”

 

Group, Classroom, Church, or Corporate sponsorships

If you are a classroom teacher, leader of a children’s group or club, business owner or manager or other group leader, and would like to become a sponsor for a specific period of time, please use the Contact Us form from the main menu, so we can work with you to tailor a sponsorship plan.  If you are in Oregon or Washington, we will send a speaker to present Amber Outreach Project to your group.  We have speakers for both children’s and adult groups.  Some of our most faithful and active sponsors are elementary and middle school students.
